The Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Dumanjug Campus is set to welcome two state-of-the-art, solar-powered academic buildings following a groundbreaking ceremony led by Governor Gwen Garcia, Mayor Gungun Gica, and CTU President Dr. Joseph Pepito on April 30.
The Cebu Provincial Government has allocated a total of P24.3 million for the construction of the three-story academic buildings, each with six classrooms with a floor area of 187.20 square meters. Designed to promote sustainability, the buildings will be equipped with solar power systems, whiteboards, armchairs, ceiling fans, and rainwater catchment facilities.
The ceremony was also attended by Seventh District Congressman Peter John Calderon, Ako Bisaya Partylist Congressman Sonny Lagon, with second nominee Carissa Garcia; Seventh District Board Member Sarsi Baricuatro, Sixth District Board Member Glenn Soco, Moalboal Vice Mayor Lingling Rozgoni, and Dumanjug municipal council members, led by Vice Mayor Wado Gica. | MARM
