WInners of the Capitol’s Sugbusog backyard gardening program received their brand-new vehicles as prizes from the Provincial Government.

The prizes were formally turned over by Gov. Gwen Garcia during the Caravan of Services in Moalboal town on Friday, May 24.

Capitol has granted the Badian Municipal Police Station a brand-new Sugbo Cop pick-up vehicle for being the Sugbusog sa Estasyonan Season 3 district winner, besting the gardens of other police stations from the district.

Badian District Hospital also received a Lite Ace Van after winning in the Provincial Level for Sugbusog sa Ospital Season 2.

Meanwhle, Purok 6 of Brgy. Cogon in Dumanjug, the best Purok in the Provincial Level for Sugbusog Season 4, received a 1-unit tricab with accessories.

Brgy. Anao in Ginatilan, the Best Barangay Provincial Winner for Sugbusog Season 4, also got the same vehicle as prize.

At least five Sugbusog Season 4 best purok district winners from the 7th district each received 2 piglets from the Capitol which is hoped to be bred and raised by the purok winners. | CSL
