DUMANJUG, CEBU — Governor Gwen Garcia and Mayor Gungun Gica led the inauguration of the newly concreted 1.4-kilometer stretch road section connecting Barangays Ylaya, Kantangkas, and Pawa in this municipality on April 30.
The Capitol spent P27.6 million for the infrastructure project that has the features of Provincial Road standards, which include road width of 6.1 meters and cement thickness of nine inches. The project is designed to improve mobility and boost economic activity in the area.
The ceremony was also attended by Seventh District Congressman Peter John Calderon, Ako Bisaya Partylist Congressman Sonny Lagon, with second nominee Carissa Garcia; Seventh District Board Member Sarsi Baricuatro, Sixth District Board Member Glenn Soco, Moalboal Vice Mayor Lingling Rozgoni, and Dumanjug municipal council members, led by Vice Mayor Wado Gica. | MARM
