Her Excellency, Constance See, Ambassador of Singapore to the Philippines, paid Gov. Gwen Garcia a visit at the Capitol today, December 6.
The two officials explored possible areas of cooperation, such as in infrastructure, trade and investments, cultural and educational exchanges, energy, waste management, and water distribution, among others.
Lavan Thiru, executive director of Infrastructure Asia Singapore, said they are certainly interested in investing in bulk water projects, renewable energy, and waste-to-energy; and that they also have the expertise in areas such as e-commerce, climate change, and sustainability.
Ambassador See said Singapore is the country’s largest direct investor, and that Filipinos and Singaporeans have a long-standing history of harmonious collaboration and cooperation. | IPA
