Gov. Gwen Garcia joined local officials of the Municipality of Medellin in the inauguration of a new multi-purpose building in Brgy. Poblacion in this town.
Gov. Gwen gave a short speech before the students and teachers who witnessed the formal launching of the newly constructed P2.9 million facility.
She took the opportunity to assure public learners that Capitol will continue its program of giving free school supplies to public school students, from Kinder Garten to Senior High School, every school year.
She urged the students to prioritize their studies more than any other endeavor because it will empower them for life.
The multi-purpose covered court was constructed by the local government of Medellin, with the funding support from the Provincial Government. The facility will serve as a venue to important communal activities in the town.
Gov. Gwen was joined by Provincial Board Members Carmela Minuel Franco and Kerrie Shimura, 4th district Cong. Janice Salimbangon, Medellin Mayor Joven Mondigo Jr., Vice Mayor Al Lim, and other LGU officials. | Carlo Lorenciana
