CAPITOL TO REPLICATE BEEP CARD SYSTEM IN NORTH BUS TERMINAL

To have a more comprehensive ticketing system and collection of fares in the Cebu North Bus Terminal, Capitol plans to replicate the beep card system, a centralized automated ticketing system, used at the Cebu South Bus Terminal.

This was the pronouncement made by the Economic Enterprise Council, chaired by Governor Gwen Garcia, during their meeting on Thursday, May 18.

Mikee Lim, Topline Express executive, welcomed this development and told the governor that they already made an assessment in the area.

With this development, Capitol and Topline will soon implement the same terms and conditions as the ones in CSBT.

On her part, Gov. Gwen asked Topline to get a more in-depth study on the proposed integration and financial projections on the said project.
