Governor Gwen Garcia’s series of inaugurations in the town of Medellin, northern Cebu ends at their newest Dockside.
The governor led the ribbon cutting at the Medellin Dockside that now features a baywalk — the latest addition to the town’s rising number of tourist attractions.
In her speech, Gov. Gwen mentioned how this development pushes Medellin further along their tourism boom.
“Murag added point sa Medellin kay wala baya’y ingon ani sauna,” the governor said.
The town is home to a number of tourist spots such as to Gibitngil Island, Aisles of Medellin, a Bamboo Forest, and beautiful dive sites.
Also in attendance were Provincial Board members Carmela Minuel Franco and Kerrie Shimura, 4th district Cong. Janice Salimbangon, Medellin Mayor Joven Mondigo Jr., Vice Mayor Al Lim, and other LGU officials. | URW
