Impressed by the performances presented during the Panagtagbo sa Mandaue Festival in Brgy. Subangdaku, the Cebu Provincial Government allocated P6 million financial assistance to the city government and the contingents themselves.

Gov. Gwen Garcia made this announcement before Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes, Board Member Glenn Soco, and DOT Undersecretary Ferdinand Jumabao, among other officials present during the festival showdown at F.E. Zuellig Avenue on May 5.

Of the P6 million, P3 million was allocated for the city’s socio-cultural expenses, while P300,000 was for each of the ten participating barangays, matching the initial P300,000 subsidy from the city.
