Governor Gwen Garcia recently met with Christina Bolcan, the Senior Business Development Manager of Mister Loo Philippines, to discuss expanding their partnership with the Province of Cebu.
The goal of this partnership is to further enhance the cleanliness and accessibility of public toilets by managing additional Capitol-run facilities across the province.
The meeting took place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the Cebu Provincial Capitol. During their conversation, Governor Garcia emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of hygiene in public spaces and proposed broadening Mister Loo’s services to several key facilities currently under the province’s management.
Currently, Mister Loo Philippines is already providing services at the Cebu South Bus Terminal and at the Hapitanan sa Sugbo facility in Pinamungajan.
Governor Garcia, recognizing the positive impact of this partnership, suggested extending their collaboration to include more Capitol-run locations, including the upcoming Hapitanan sa Sugbo facility in Santander as well as the newly planned wellness center that will be housed at the old Palace of Justice at the Capitol Compound.
In addition to these facilities, the proposed expansion would also involve Mister Loo overseeing operations at the Capitol’s Sugbo Sentro in Larsian, as well as the I.T. Park in Lahug, two of Cebu’s busiest public areas. The Governor emphasized that ensuring clean, well-maintained toilets at these high-traffic locations would improve the overall experience for residents and visitors alike. | JMT
