LILOAN, CEBU – Governor Gwen Garcia joined the power couple, Tourism Sec. Christina Garcia Frasco and Deputy Speaker Duke Frasco, in gracing the inauguration of infrastructure projects here on the evening of December 10, with the Capitol investing P13 million aimed at enhancing public spaces.
The projects include the Suba Boulevard, a newly developed riverside promenade, which has been equipped with new streetlights to improve safety and visibility. It has been designed to accentuate the natural beauty while providing a scenic area for locals to enjoy.
This initiative represents an investment of P7 million from the Cebu Provincial Government.
Further enhancing Liloan’s public amenities, the town plaza received an upgrade featuring a blend of classic and modern design. This project was jointly funded, with P6 million sourced from the Capitol and P4.5 million from the LGU.
On the same day, Governor Garcia also participated in the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony held at the town plaza. The event was attended by Liloan’s municipal officials, led by Mayor Aljew Frasco, as well as Provincial Board Members Glenn Anthony Soco, Red Duterte, and Mike Villamor.
These infrastructure developments reflect ongoing efforts to improve local facilities and enhance the quality of life for Liloanons. | MARM
