Gov. Gwen Garcia and Mister Loo Philippines regional finance chief Monica Advento formalized another partnership between parties in the signing of a lease agreement concerning the soon-to-be operationalized Tourist Rest Area (TRA) in Pinamungajan on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
The agreement covers a five-year lease, granting Mister Loo the right to operate state-of-the-art restroom facilities in a designated 43.8 square-meter space within the Capitol-funded TRA.
Mister Loo will implement advanced hygiene protocols to provide world-class restroom services for a minimal fee of P10 for basic service and P20 for premium options.
Board Member Jiembo Borgonia and Capitol department heads were present during the lease agreement signing on October 29.
Aside from featuring DOT-approved amenities like souvenir shops, charging stations and lounge, the Capitol shall add a unique twist by incorporating a mini food court. The food will be distinctly Cebuano, freshly cooked and served warm to highlight local flavors to every visitor. | BJR
