“We already have achieved what everybody would consider the pinnacle, the best; and the answer to that is, yes of course, because Cebu has achieved and defined what the best is. We will continue to define what is even better than the best.”
This was the statement of Gov. Gwen Garcia as she spoke with pride during this year’s final installment of the R'Cebu Experience today, October 4.
Gov. Gwen reflected on the evolution of R’Cebu Experience which started in 2020 as an initiative by the Cebu Provincial Government to promote local culture, products, and tourism especially during the challenges brought about by the pandemic.
“We have seen the evolution of our products. Our products have gone from good, to better, and best nana karon,” she added.
"Padayon ang atong pagsaka, pag-uswag, padayon ang atong pagka nahimo nang modelo nga probinsiya sa tibuok Pilipinas,” the governor said, adding how Cebu has become a model province, not just in the Visayas but for the entire country.
The R' Cebu Experience has been a platform for showcasing Cebu's heritage, culture, and diverse offerings. Its evolution since its inception has been remarkable.
This year's final installment of the R'Cebu Experience focuses on the vibrant Seventh District, featuring unique culinary and artisanal offerings from each town.
The event, which runs from October 4 to October 6 at Robinsons Galleria Cebu Atrium, invites visitors to explore everything the district has to offer - from the savory Humba of Ronda, the Bisnok of Dumanjug, and the Banig of Badian to the Buyoc from Malabuyoc, the handicrafts of Alcantara, the Palagsing of Ginatilan, and the stunning waters of Moalboal. | via BJR
