DUMANJUG, CEBU — To ensure quality healthcare services reach all corners of the municipality, this town has acquired a mobile clinic.
Gov. Gwen Garcia joined Mayor Efren Guntrano Gica in inaugurating the 13.6-million-peso mobile clinic during the Caravan of Government Services held at the Dumanjug Municipal Gym on September 28.
The mobile clinic was funded by the town, with additional financial assistance from the Cebu Provincial Government.
This state-of-the-art mobile clinic is equipped with essential medical facilities, including an X-ray machine, laboratory, ultrasound, dental unit, ECG, and drug testing unit.
The clinic is expected to serve far-flung areas in Dumanjug and neighboring towns, addressing residents’ healthcare needs in an accessible way.
Also present at the inauguration were Seventh District Congressman Peter John Calderon, Board Members Cesar Baricuatro, Jerome Librando, and Loren Singco; as well as the mayors of the district. | BJR
