BREASTFEEDING MOMS, STUDENTS, PWDs BENEFIT FROM CARAVAN OF SERVICES

DUMANJUG, CEBU — Lactating mothers from Cebu’s seventh district each received breast-feeding kits and 10 kilos of rice from the DILG and Ako Bisaya Partylist during today’s Caravan of Government Services held at the Dumanjug Municipal Gym.

The event, spearheaded by Gov. Gwen Garcia, also saw the distribution of assistive devices to persons with disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens.

Seventh district Congressman Peter John Calderon, Board Members Cesar Baricuatro, Jerome Librando, and Loren Singco, alongside the district’s mayors, were also present during the distribution.

Aside from them, around 26 public school students represented the entire district in receiving school supplies and hygiene kits from the Capitol. All students of the district will receive such supplies from the Capitol.

The supplies included school bags, pad papers, ballpens, sandals, and more; while hygiene kits contained essentials like shampoo, alcohol, toothbrush, and toothpaste.

Gov. Gwen also distributed financial subsidies to the mayors of the seventh district to support their infrastructure projects. | via BJR
