The Cebu Provincial Government continues to boost infrastructure development in the Seventh District by allocating a total of P24 million in subsidies to the eight local government units (LGUs) of the district.

Dumanjug Mayor Efren Guntrano Gica, Ronda Mayor Terence Mariano Blanco, Alcantara Mayor Fritz Lastimoso, Moalboal Mayor Inocentes Cabaron, Badian Mayor Carmen Lumain, Alegria Mayor Gilberto Magallon, Malabuyoc Mayor Erlinda Piedad, and Ginatilan Mayor Roy Vincent Singcco each received P3 million personally from Gov. Gwen Garcia during the Caravan of Government Services held at the Dumanjug Municipal Gym on September 28.

Gov. Gwen was joined by seventh district Congressman Peter John Calderon, Board Members Cesar Baricuatro, Jerome Librando and Loren Singco during the distribution.

These subsidies are to be spent only for infrastructure projects to ensure that every LGU benefits from the Capitol’s continuous development efforts. | via BJR
