Beginning October 1, 2024, travelers to and from Hagnaya in San Remigio to Santa Fe in Bantayan Island will enjoy price rollback for their fare, ranging from P5 to as much as P29.
This was reached during another meeting called by Governor Gwen Garcia at the Capitol today, September 20. Present here were key stakeholders, led by Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) regional director Annabell Llagas, Madridejos Mayor Romeo Villaceran, Santa Fe Mayor Ithamar Espinosa, and Super Shuttle owner Paul Rodriguez.
Under the new fare rate, Island Shipping will reduce its one-way fare from P300 to P295; while Super Shuttle fares will drop from P359 to P330.
