𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎, 𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐔 — From Minglanilla, Gov. Gwen Garcia hopped on to the next town to be here to inaugurate another road concreting project which was funded by the Capitol to the tune of P62.48 million.
The newly concreted Sangat-Lantawan Road Section is 2.68 kilometers long and 6.10-meter wide, with cement thickness of 9 inches. It connects Barangays Sangat and Lantawan, offering motorists an alternative route and helps decongest traffic along the main road.
The barangay captains of Sangat and Lantawan thanked the Capitol for heeding their call for help, as the road used to be a rough road before that is dusty during summer and muddy during the rainy days.
The barangay captains also recalled in their speeches former Gov. Pablo Garcia who caused the establishment of the two barangays’ water system, which has remained operational until today, bringing-needed water services to the homes of these mountain barangays.
Gov. Gwen was joined here by First District Board Member Raul Bacaltos and San Fernando Mayor Mytha Canoy. I Babie Jane Revecoy
