𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀, 𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐔 — Governor Gwen Garcia officially inaugurated the newly concreted Tulay-Tungkop Road section in this municipality today, August 9.
The Capitol spent P36.28 million for the 2.12-kilometer road section. It has width of 6.10 meters and cement thickness of 9 inches.
The road offers an alternative route and helps ease traffic at the national highway here. This project is part of the Capitol’s ongoing efforts to modernize the provincial road networks to promote development and ensure safer and more efficient transportation for the Cebuanos.
Gov. Gwen, in her speech, said the Capitol will also put up solar lights along the 2-km road section, as well as industrial fans for the covered court of Brgy. Tungkop.
“Aron uban sa kahayag sa kagabhion, ang kahayag usab sa kaugmaon sa mga Minglanillahanon,” she said.
The Governor was joined by First District Board Member Raul Bacaltos, Minglanilla Mayor Rajiv Enad, Vice Mayor Elanito Peña, and other local officials during the inauguration. I Babie Jane Revecoy
