𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀, 𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐔 — Around P13 million worth of infrastructure projects were inaugurated in this town on Wednesday, June 26.
Gov. Gwen Garcia joined Tudela Mayor Greman Solante in the inauguration of the following projects:
1) a P5 million driveway with three gates;
2) a P5 million LED wall installed at the town plaza; and
3) a P3 million perimeter fence for the municipal compound.
The driveway with three gates and the perimeter fence secure the safety of all municipal officials, employees and the transacting public who go in and out of the municipal compound.
The outdoor LED wall, moreover, offers the town with a facility that gives enhanced visual experience during programs that could be civic, spiritual, or educational in nature, among various others.
These projects are located within the vicinity of the municipal compound in Brgy. Southern Poblacion.
The funding for these projects was pooled from the various financial aids given by the Cebu Provincial Government to the town during several key Capitol meetings.
A single-barrel reinforced concrete box culvert was also inaugurated in Brgy. Mc. Arthur amounting P6.577 million.
Mayor Solante, on behalf of his constituents, expressed gratitude for the governor’s unwavering support to the town’s infrastructural development. He said despite the town being ranked among the least progressive LGUs in the province but through collaboration with the Capitol, constituents little by little feel progress in this municipality.
Fifth district Board Members Red Duterte and Mike Villamor; as well as Vice Mayor Erwin Yu and municipal councilors, were also present at the event. Mayor Edgar Rama and Vice Mayor Dina Rama of the neighboring town of Poro showed their support at the venue. | BJR
