Gov. Gwen Garcia turned over a total of P20.8 million worth of infrastructure funds to eight local government units of the seventh district.
The distribution of the checks was done during the first stop of the Caravan of Services for this quarter held in Moalboal town.
The checks worth P2 million each were received by Dumanjug Mayor Efren Guntrano Gica; Ronda Mayor Terence Mariano Blanco; Alcantara Mayor Fritz Lastimoso; Moalboal Mayor Inocentes Cabaron; Badian Mayor Carmen Lumain; Alegria Mayor Gilberto Magallon; Malabuyoc Mayor Erlinda Piedad; and Ginatilan Mayor Roy Vincent Singco.
Moreover, three barangays of each of the district LGUs also received P200,000 each from the Capitol as assistance for their various programs. The barangay captains received the checks from the governor during the same event. | CSL
