Gov. Gwen Garcia kicks off her Camotes visit with the inauguration of the Phase I of Pilar Circumferential Road on February 20.
The Capitol spent P112.05 million for concreting work on the first phase of the circumferential road that has length of 6 kilometers.
The first phase represents one-fourth of the entire length of the island’s circumferential road which has a total length of 24 km. The Capitol is committed to seeing the entire project through, allocating provincial funds for its completion.
Joining Gov. Gwen during the inauguration were Pilar Mayor Winky Santiago, fifth district Board Member Red Duterte, and tow officials.
After the inauguration, Gov. Gwen proceeds immediately to the municipal gym for the distribution of various assistance at the Caravan of Government Services
The road project was completed in 300 days by Shalom Construction Inc., making it the latest infrastructure project Capitol poured in for Pilar — Cebu’s remotest island off the eastern coast of mainland Cebu. | Carlo Lorenciana
