Gov. Gwen Garcia officially declared the new seasons of Sugbusog program open during the awarding ceremony for the Season 4 on Thursday, Dec 21.

Officially launched are the Sugbusog Season 5 for households, puroks, and LGUs; Sugbusog Seaosn 4 for the 51 police stations; and Sugbusog Season 3 for the four provincial hospitals and 12 district hospitals.

Numerous awards were given to Sugbusog winners at the awarding rites, including cash ranging from P20,000 to P1 million, tricabs, brand-new vans, and police patrol cars, among others.

In her short speech, Gov. Garcia hopes that more participants would be encouraged to join in the next seasons after learning that Capitol is giving away huge prizes every season.

“Kay sama sa kanunay nga atong pamaagi, dili ayuda, dili dole out. Tabangan aron maningkamot usab ang Sugbuanon nga motabang usab sa iyang kaugalingon. Nanghinaut ko nga ang sunod nga seasons, mas daghan pa puhon nga ang mogawas nga mananaug,” she said.

“Paningkamot gyud mo kay kami diri sa Provincial Government kay motan-aw ug mohatag gayud og ganti kung ikaw maningkamot sa imong kaugalingon,” the governor added.
