The Vice Mayors League of the Philippines (VLMP) Cebu Chapter celebrated a merrier Christmas after Governor Gwen Garcia allocated all members present with P2 million each.
Gov. Garcia made this pronouncement during the VLMP Year-End General Assembly and Christmas Fellowship today at the Quest Hotel Conference Centre Cebu in Cebu City.
While each of the 50 members present received funds for their respective infrastructure projects, Gov. Garcia has earmarked a separate P5 million for VLMP Cebu, headed by Cebu City Vice Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia.
In total, VLMP received P105 million from the Capitol.
Gov. Garcia reminded the officials to use the financial incentive for infrastructure projects that future generations will benefit from. | Babie Jane Revecoy
