A recent survey verified what has always been common knowledge in Cebu: Gov. Gwendolyn F. Garcia is the undisputed number one governor in the entire country today.

This was exactly the contents of the recent survey released by RP Mission’s “Boses ng Bayan”, an independent and non-commissioned national survey that assessed the effectiveness of the leaders all over the country.

Cebu’s Iron Lady is comfortably perched atop the list with an approval rating of 95.30% from her Cebuano constituency, garnering almost impeccable scores in such areas as governance and administrative efficiency; economic development; social welfare; public safety and order; environmental sustainability; education and culture; public engagement and satisfaction; innovation and technology adoption; and equity and inclusivity, among others.

The survey was conducted autonomously over the period of September 20-30, 2023 encompassing a demographically diverse group of 10,000 registered voters from various provinces. The survey’s design ensured a high degree of accuracy, with a statistical margin of error set at ±1 percent and a confidence level of 95%. | IPA
