ARGAO, CEBU — Sugbo Kahanas Round 2 graduates in the second district receive their NCII from Tesda; as well as allowances and starter tool kits from the Capitol during the Caravan of Service here today.
Gov. Gwen Garcia and Vice Gov. Hilario Davide III led the ceremonial distribution here witnessed by the LGU officials and beneficiaries of the district.
Sugbo Kahanas is a 100-million-peso initiative of the Capitol that provides free tech-voc skills trainings for qualified Cebuanos.
The second round of the program produced over 4,000 tech-voc graduates who are not only equipped with necessary skills and certificates to land employment here and abroad; but were also given entrepreneurial trainings to encourage them to start their own businesses.
The Offices of the Vice Governor and the 17 Members of the Provincial Board were the ones that screened, selected, and facilitated the trainings of the beneficiaries in over 20 Tesda-accredited skills upgrading programs. | Mary Ann Rose Malaya
