In order to have access into the much-anticipated repeat performances of winning contingents of the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo 2023, live audience will have to wear any DOT-inspired Love the Philippines campaign T-shirt.
This was the agreement reached during the final coordination meeting called by Gov. Gwen Garcia with stakeholders of the repeat performances and awarding ceremony which will be held at the school grounds of the Cebu Technological University Dumanjug Campus on Saturday, October 21.
The officials present include Board Member Red Duterte of the committee on tourism, Dumanjug Mayor Gungun Gica, Cebu Provincial Police Office director PCol Percival R. Zorilla, and DepEd Provincial Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Senen Priscillo Paulin.
PCol Zorilla said the PNP will deploy 352 police officers to secure the event, while 233 force multipliers will also be made available. He said security details, as well as traffic plans and other contingency measures are already in place.
Eight ambulances will be on-stand by and four medical stations will be put up to attend to any emergency.
For his part, Dr. Paulin said the accommodating quarters of contingents in nearby public schools have also been readied. He said the nine contingents from far-flung areas that will start arriving tomorrow will be accommodated immediately.
Food stalls will also be put up around the venue to offer a variety of food and beverage options for the audience. | Mary Ann Malaya
