GOV INAUGURATES GAAS MULTI-PURPOSE BLDG IN BALAMBAN

BALAMBAN — Governor Gwen Garcia and Balamban Mayor Ace Binghay led the inauguration of the 2-storey multi-purpose building in Brgy. Gaas here on Monday, October 2.

The Cebu Provincial Government has allocated P2.85 million for the construction of the new facility. It has an area of 45 square meters and will serve as the new barangay hall of Gaas.

Gaas Barangay Captain William Genel told Sugbo News that this new building is three times bigger than the old one, which has an area of only 12 sq.m. and was destroyed by Supertyphoon Odette.

Gov. Gwen was joined by Board Member John Ismael Borgonia, Vice Mayor Alfie Binghay, and the rest of the municipal council.

During the inauguration, students of Regional Training Center also offered a dance presentation to entertain the officials. | BJR
