With the barangay elections fast approaching, Governor Gwen Garcia reminded the barangay captains to engage in peaceful elections and not use the financial aid that the Provincial Government is giving for election purposes.
She also advised them and the would-be candidates for the barangay and Sanguniang Kabataan (BSK) not to engage in mud-slinging or low-blow attacks when campaigning.
Issue por issue, ayaw i-apil ang mga personal,” the governor said.
“Ako lang ni hangyo. Kay kanus-a pa man ta mag-usab? Kanus-a pa man?
“Pwerteng sikata nato karon…angay nga makit-an nila lahi ang Sugbuanon,” she added.
