The local government unit's (LGUs) of the third district of Cebu has brought the R’ Cebu trade fair a notch higher, as products and presentation of the exhibitors have greatly improved over time.
Gov. Gwen Garcia made these comments during the launching of the fourth leg of the program at the Robinsons Galleria on June 16.
“Over here in the Province of Cebu, leveling up is the order of the day,” Gov. Garcia said. “And when we challenge the Sugbuanon, particularly the Sugbuanons and mayors of the third district, they not only level up, they exceed expectations.”
Mayors of the third district LGUs, as well as Provincial Board Member Jimbo Borgonia, Robinsons mall executives, and tourism officers graced the short program.
The Midwestern LGUs of Toledo City, as well as the municipalities of Aloguinsan, Asturias, Balamban, Barili, Pinamungajan, and Tuburan are displaying their local products at the Robinsons Galleria for three days beginning today without any mall fees.
The public may buy their favorite locally made goods without having to travel far to these LGUs for the purchase.
These Midwestern towns, with the exception of Barili and the inclusion of Tabuelan, recently hosted the guests of the ‘Suroy Suroy Sugbo: Explore the Midwest’ also for 3 days last weekend. | Carlo Lorenciana
