𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 (𝐂𝐂𝐓𝐍) will soon be a home for Sugbo TV News and Lifestyle Channel as businessman Nonito “Tatay Dodong” Limchua offered the Cebu Provincial Government a channel that will air its news programs and television magazine shows.
Tatay Dodong who owns (CCTN), a cable TV provider based in Cebu, met with Gov. Gwen Garcia on Thursday to personally relay his offer. He also updated the govenor that his company has upgraded to be an internet provider that now covers almost the whole of Cebu, including Bantayan Island.
If this will be realized, the Cebu Province’s media arm, Sugbo News and Sugbo TV, which features everything about Cebu as an island and its people, Capitol’s programs, projects and policies, will have a wider audience outside the social media space.
Limchua said CCTN has a presence in key areas in Visayas and Mindanao.
During the meeting, Gov. Gwen was optimistic about the idea, saying that this will be a huge boost for Cebu Province’s media arms. Currently, Sugbo News maintains a following through its social media channels and website.
CCTN is a subsidiary of the Fil Products Group that has been in the Cable TV industry for 30 years and has grown extensively through the seamless performance of its members and affiliates across Visayas and Mindanao regions. | Carlo Lorenciana
