𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Ahead of Tropical Storm Basyang’s projected landfall in Cebu’s First District this afternoon, Gov. Pamela Baricuatro inspected the Minglanilla District Hospital this morning to assess readiness.

After the hospital visit, Gov. Baricuatro stopped at the Mananga Bridge in Talisay City to check water levels.
During Typhoon Tino last year, the Mananga River overflowed, causing extensive damage to nearby communities and resulting in several casualties.

Early this morning she issued a directive to mayors to take decisive action when public safety is at risk and appealed to residents to promptly comply with evacuation orders, especially in flood-prone and hazardous areas. | 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒍 𝑷𝑰𝑶
