The Cebu Provincial Government has intensified its preparations for the possible impact of Tropical Storm #BasyangPH, with Capitol employees beginning large-scale packing operations of family food packs, hygiene kits, sleeping kits, and kitchen kits at the Capitol Warehouse.
Personnel from the Provincial General Services Office, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, and the Cebu People’s Action Center are working together to ensure that relief goods are ready for immediate distribution to communities that may be affected by the approaching storm.
Under the directive of Governor Pamela Baricuatro, the packing and mobilization of supplies are being carried out in an organized and efficient manner to guarantee that assistance reaches those in need without delay.
As of today, the Capitol’s available relief inventory includes
1,300 family food packs,
1,200 hygiene kits,
3,500 sleeping kits, and
1,500 kitchen kits.
