A bloodletting activity is ongoing at Chong Hua Hospital Fuente until 5 p.m. today as part of a joint initiative between the hospital and the Cebu Provincial Government.
The activity marks the launch of the province’s monthly bloodletting advocacy, which will rotate among private and public hospitals to help ensure a steady and reliable blood supply for patients in need.
Capitol Piso Health Consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan said the campaign aims to support patients undergoing surgery, trauma care and cancer treatment, while also strengthening hospitals’ emergency preparedness. One blood donation can help save multiple lives and contributes to maintaining a sustainable blood supply for communities.
Healthcare workers, partner organizations and the public are encouraged to participate in the drive.
