While on official visit to Fujian, China:
𝐆𝐎𝐕. 𝐏𝐀𝐌 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐕𝐆 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐎 𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐔’𝐒 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐎𝐑
To ensure the uninterrupted delivery of basic services at the Capitol, Vice Governor Glenn Anthony Soco has been designated as acting governor while Governor Pamela Baricuatro leads an official Cebu Provincial Government delegation to Fujian Province, China from February 3–7.
The official visit to Cebu’s sister province aims to strengthen Cebu–Fujian ties in tourism, people-to-people exchanges, and investments, deepen cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine to support improved healthcare services for Cebuanos, and benchmark a waste-to-energy facility to help address Cebu’s garbage concerns.
Joining the governor are members of the Provincial Board (PB) who chairs pertinent committees, including PB Members Doc Stanley Caminero (committee on health), Malcolm Sanchez (committee on foreign and local relations), Neneth Reluya (committee on higher education), and Mike Villamor (committee on commerce and industry). |𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶
