𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐋𝐎𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐋𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐈𝐍̃𝐀𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐇𝐎𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐒
The Cebu Provincial Government, through the Cebu People’s Action Center (CPAC), distributed 300 packs of hot meals to performers from Las Piñas who were unable to return home following their participation at the Sinulog festivities over the weekend.
The assistance was extended to help the stranded visitors cope with the situation as they awaited transport arrangements following the conclusion of Cebu’s biggest festival.
Last Monday, Gov. Pamela Baricuatro also provided financial aid and delivered 250 packs of hot meals and bottles of water to the contigent of Muntinlupa.
The initiative is part of Gov. Baricuatro’s efforts to provide immediate care and support to those in need, especially in times that call for compassion and bayanihan, while ensuring that in Cebu, no one is left behind and assistance reaches those who need it most.
