For the first time, the Sinulog Festival in Cebu City concluded before 8 p.m., giving devotees a smoother and more comfortable celebration experience.
Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival said the earlier wrap-up reduced waiting fatigue among spectators while still delivering 40 standout performances during the Grand Parade and Ritual Showdown.
The Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office estimated total attendance at around 5.2 million people, staying within the Maximum Occupancy Limit (MOL) as of 6:17 p.m.
