The Cebu Provincial Government has completed the distribution of 2025 cash incentives for barangay workers in the 7th District, covering the last three remaining municipalities—Dumanjug, Ronda, and Alcantara—benefiting a total of 2,075 recipients. Simultaneously, a separate distribution activity took place at the Barili Municipal Gym, where 1,933 barangay workers from Barili and Aloguinsan received their cash incentives. Barili recorded 1,364 beneficiaries, while Aloguinsan had 579 recipients.

Under the enhanced incentive program, barangay health workers (BHW), barangay nutrition scholars (BNS), day care workers (DCW), and barangay animal health aides (BAHA) each received ₱7,000, an increase from the previous ₱6,500. Barangay tanods received ₱6,000, up from ₱5,500, while gender and development (GAD) focal persons and lupon tagapamayapa members each received ₱3,000, increased from ₱2,500.

In addition, all beneficiaries were given a Noche Buena package worth ₱599.

Further distributions are scheduled in the remaining days of January to complete the province-wide rollout of the 2025 cash incentives for barangay workers.

Present during the distribution were 7th District Provincial Board Members Paz Razgoni and Sarsi Baricuatro, along with host local government officials, including Ronda Mayor Chantili Ann Victoria Blanco, Barili Municipal Administrator Ann Ewican, and Aloguinsan Mayor Ignatius Moreno./𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶
