𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝟓 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒, 𝟑 𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐒
Dr. James Nicholas Najarro, Chief of Hospital of Bantayan District Hospital, announced that the hospital currently has three (3) ambulances and five (5) ambulance drivers to ensure fast and efficient response to emergencies on the island.
Dr. Najarro said the presence of sufficient and well-prepared ambulances is a great help, especially since Bantayan District Hospital is located on an island where the rapid transport of patients who require more advanced medical care is critically important.
This is part of the initiative of Dr. Nikki Catalan, Piso Public Health Consultant, to ensure that all 16 provincial hospitals in Cebu are fully equipped and have an adequate number of ambulance drivers. This proposal and request were supported and approved by People’s Governor Pamela Baricuatro, demonstrating the strong support of the Cebu Provincial Government for the health and safety of the people.
