The Cebu Provincial Government has started a series of strategic planning sessions with Capitol departments to align programs, projects, and activities with the direction and priorities of Governor Pamela Baricuatro for the year.
The strategic planning process is anchored on the governor’s leadership and governance lens, which emphasizes a process-oriented, purpose-driven, and performance-based approach to public service, ensuring that government actions are well-structured, responsive to real needs, and measurable in impact.
To date, strategic planning has been conducted with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO), Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), and the Provincial Legal Office (PLO). These sessions focused on setting clear priorities, refining work processes, and aligning departmental programs with the administration’s overarching goals.
Other Capitol offices are scheduled to undergo similar strategic planning sessions in the coming weeks as part of the provincial government’s continuing efforts to establish a unified, results-driven roadmap for the year. | CAPITOL PIO
