𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Scenes from the launching of the Balik Cebu at the Ayala Center Cebu, with Governor Pamela Baricuatro, Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival, and Balik Cebu Program Chairperson Tetta Baad leading the activity.
In her message, Governor Baricuatro said she is honored to welcome everyone for this year’s Sinulog festivities. She said it brought her great joy to know that Cebuanos and friends from Cebu get to come home, visit, and celebrate the Sinulog.
“But this year, Sinulog is more than just a celebration. After all the disasters we went through last year—earthquakes, typhoons, and moments that tested our strength—this Sinulog has become a symbol of faith and renewal. It reminds us that even after hardship, we rise together, guided by our devotion to Señor Santo Niño,” the governor said.
Governor Baricuatro also extended her gratitude to tourism partners and stakeholders who continue to make Balik Cebu possible, and who help ensure that Cebu remains “a place of welcome, hope, and shared celebration.”
“To our balikbayans, your presence makes this Sinulog even more meaningful. Thank you for coming home and for carrying Cebu in your hearts wherever you are in the world. May this Sinulog renew our faith, strengthen our unity, and remind us of what truly matters,” she added.
