𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Governor Pamela Baricuatro and DILG Cebu Provincial Director Jesus Robel Sastrillo Jr. led the second “Dagyawan sa Barangay” held at the Deo Durano Sports and Cultural Complex in the northern municipality of Sogod, Cebu, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. The first Dagyawan sa Barangay was held in Tuburan town on December 1.
One of the highlights of the whole-day activity, organized in partnership with the Local Government of Sogod, was the unveiling of the Dagyawan sa Barangay peace pole bearing the message, “May Peace Prevail on Earth.”
The event also showcased the implementation of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), a Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) initiative designed to address community issues, bridge governance gaps, and promote peace by bringing essential government services directly to barangays, particularly those previously affected by conflict or in need of further development.
