𝐆𝐎𝐕. 𝐏𝐀𝐌 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐒𝐔𝐆𝐁𝐎 𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎𝐏-𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐋𝐔𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐔 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄
The DILG Sugbo, in partnership with Cebu Provincial Government, recognized outstanding barangays for their exemplary performance in community dispute resolution during the calendar year (CY) 2025 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) Provincial Awarding Ceremony held on December 5, 2025 at the Cebu Grand Hotel in Cebu City.
A total of 21 barangays from 1st–5th class municipalities and component cities across the province were honored for their dedication to upholding peace, harmony, and grassroots justice in their communities.
Provincial winners from each category received P500,000 from the Cebu Provincial Government and an additional P30,000 from DILG-7 as regional winners. First runners-up were awarded P300,000, while category finalists received P100,000.
Governor Pamela Baricuatro, who graced the ceremony as keynote speaker, commended the unwavering commitment of the Lupons in resolving cases and conflicts at the community level. She assured that the Provincial Capitol remains open to all barangays in Cebu as they continue their vital work in maintaining order and unity.
DILG Sugbo Provincial Director Dr. Jesus Robel Sastrillo Jr. also praised the Lupons for their dedication, emphasizing their crucial role in grassroots justice and community empowerment.
The CY 2025 LTIA winners were announced across various categories, with the following barangays recognized:
5th Class Category
• Winner: Brgy. Malalay, Ronda
• First Runner-up: Brgy. Poblacion, Samboan
4th Class Category
• Winner: Brgy. Macaas, Catmon
• First Runner-up: Brgy. Tagnucan, Borbon
• Finalist: Brgy. Ibabao, Sogod
3rd Class Category
• Winner: Brgy. Argawanon, San Remigio
• First Runner-up: Brgy. Ibabao, Cordova
• Finalists: Brgy. Langub (Asturias), Brgy. Malhiāo (Badian), Brgy. Cantumog (Carmen),
Brgy. Estaca (Compostela), Brgy. Sabang (Sibonga)
2nd Class Category
• Winner: Brgy. Mantalongon, Barili
• First Runner-up: Brgy. Lamac, Pinamungajan
1st Class Category
• Winner: Brgy. Guiwanon, Bantayan
• First Runner-up: Brgy. Tabla, Liloan
• Finalist: Brgy. Poblacion Occidental, Consolacion
Component Cities Category
• Winner: Brgy. Gairan, Bogo City
• First Runner-up: Brgy. Maslog, Danao City
• Finalists: Brgy. Langtad (City of Naga), Brgy. Bulacao (Talisay City)
