𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕’𝐋 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐁𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐎𝐊’𝐬 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔
The Cebu Provincial School Board (CPSB), chaired by Governor Pamela Baricuatro, has approved the procurement of school supplies for learners under the Department of Education (DepEd) in Cebu Province for next year.
The board, however, could not finalize the exact budget allocation as DepEd’s Cebu Provincial Division has yet to determine the actual number of enrollees for next school year.
Dr. Senen Priscillo P. Paulin, Schools Division Superintendent, said their available data shows 886,711 enrollees this year, and they typically project a 10 percent increase for the following school year.
Items to be procured include school bags, pad paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, and even sandals. If funds allow, the board will also consider providing tumblers and document bags for teachers.
Provincial Treasurer Atty. Roy Salubre reported that the school board has a fund balance of over P1.143 billion as of November 27, 2025. | 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒍 𝑷𝑰𝑶
