Around 500 residents of Barangay Cabadiangan in Compostela town received free medical services during the Capitol Medical Mission held today, December 6.
The strong turnout of both adults and children shows the community’s significant need for accessible healthcare in remote areas like this one.

Spearheaded by the Cebu Provincial Government in partnership with Taisho Philippines and local barangay officials, the one-day mission was personally overseen by Capitol Piso Health Consultant, Dr. Nikki Catalan.
Attendees benefited from medical consultations, health check-ups, and essential medicines. Dr. Catalan commended the Barangay Cabadiangan community for their warm welcome and active participation.

Given the current unpredictable weather conditions, which often increase health risks, the need for readily available medical support close to home is more crucial than ever.
The ongoing Capitol Medical Mission is part of the broader health initiatives by Gov. Pamela Baricuatro’s administration to bring free and quality services closer to communities across the province.
