The Cebu Provincial Government, through the Cebu People’s Action Center, distributed 1,000 hot meals and 1,000 bottles of water to evacuees at the Central Elementary School and Barangay Tapon in Dumanjug town yesterday, Nov. 25.
Also yesterday, Dumanjug LGU received the initial aid of 500 family food packs.
Under the directive of Gov. Pamela Baricuatro, responders from CPAC and the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office are speeding up relief operations in areas affected by flooding due to Tropical Depression Verbena.
