Gov. Pamela Baricuatro welcomed and commended Francis Anthony Narvasa, the wing van driver hailed as a hero for his courageous actions during severe flooding in Barangay Cotcot, Liloan due to Typhoon Tino.

A viral video captured the moment Narvasa, with the help of two assistants, used his company’s wing van to block rushing floodwaters, saving six individuals from being swept away.
During their meeting, Narvasa shared with the governor that he was subsequently fired from his job for using the company vehicle in the rescue operation.
In recognition of his bravery, Gov. Baricuatro immediately offered Narvasa a position as a driver for the Capitol.
“I am deeply grateful to Governor Baricuatro for this opportunity and for the support during this challenging time,” Narvasa said in Cebuano. | 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒍 𝑷𝑰𝑶
