LOOK: Flaunting the Korean “finger heart” and thumbs-up signs, some elderly patients were all smiles, expressing their gratitude for the successful eye procedures during the second day of the Capitol’s free Ophthalmology Surgical Mission at the Oslob District Hospital.

The surgical mission is a partnership between the Cebu Provincial Government and the Department of Ophthalmology of the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC).
This initiative is part of Gov. Pamela Baricuatro’s health reforms to bring quality services closer to the people.
Photos were posted with the patients’ consent.
