Police officers under the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 and from other government institutions were recognized in the “Pasidungog sa mga Bayani” awarding ceremony held at the Regional Headquarters in Camp Sergio Osmeña Sr., Cebu City, on Monday, October 13, in recognition of their service and assistance to the earthquake victims in northern Cebu.
Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro, Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) 7 Director Joel Erestain, and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 7 Director Shalaine Marie Lucero were among those recognized in the ceremony led by PRO 7 Director, Brigadier General Redrico A. Maranan.
Also in attendance were the chiefs of various police agencies and military groups in the region, who were awarded with “Medalya ng Pagtulong sa Nasalanta,” which was given by the governor herself.
The ceremony culminated with a boodle fight feast shared together by the awardees and the men and women of PRO 7. /𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶
