LOOK: At 1 AM early this morning, two Philippine Navy vessels — MV Rafael Pargas and MV Filipino Flojo — arrived at Maya Port in Daanbantayan, Cebu, carrying relief goods and medicines for communities affected by the 6.9-magnitude earthquake in northern Cebu.

In the true spirit of bayanihan, personnel from the Philippine Navy, Cebu Port Authority (CPA), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and local banca crews and boat captains worked hand in hand to unload supplies bound for the island barangays of Maya, Malapascua, and Carnaza Island.

This coordinated mission, supported by the Cebu Provincial Government, ensures that even far-flung island communities receive timely and life-saving assistance — in line with Governor Pamela Baricuatro’s directive that in serving the Cebuanos, no one shall be left behind. | 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒍 𝑷𝑰𝑶
