The Cebu Provincial Tourism Office, under the leadership of Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro, in close collaboration with the Cebu Tourism Council, private sector representatives, and the tourism officers of Bantayan Island’s three municipalities, came together to strengthen partnerships and create meaningful opportunities for the island’s tourism sector.
As part of this initiative, the team held a productive meeting with the tourism officers, conducted accommodation visits to assess facilities and readiness for guests, and explored ancestral sites that highlight the island’s rich cultural heritage.

Guided by the Council’s strategic direction, this collaborative meeting reinforced Cebu’s collective commitment to advancing sustainable initiatives that drive inclusive growth, empower local communities, and celebrate the unique natural beauty and vibrant culture of Bantayan Island.
As Cebu prepares for the Mactan–Bantayan flight’s resumption and the new Clark–Bantayan route’s opening, stakeholders unite to ensure Bantayan Island can welcome more visitors while protecting its heritage and environment.

Nestled in the heart of the Philippines, Cebu — an island in the Pacific — stands as a premier tourist destination, with Bantayan Island shining as one of its most treasured gems.
Together, under the leadership of Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro and the Cebu Tourism Council, we move forward — committed to positioning Bantayan Island as a true jewel of Cebu tourism. | 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒍
